Our Special Topics Committee
The topics that our Special Topics Committee choose are decided by the committee members. For the 2021-2022 school year, we currently have Criminal Justice, Foreign Affairs, Infrastructure and Progressive.
Criminal Justice Caucus
Olivia MaroneyOlivia is a second year public relations and criminology double major from Fort Myers, FL. Olivia is very passionate about the flaws of the country’s criminal justice system and hopes to one day become an attorney to provide legal aid to those that have been wronged by the system. Olivia is part of many organizations on campus such as the Pre Legal Honor Society, PRSSA, Students Against Mass Incarceration (SAMI), and more. In her free time Olivia loves to read and spend time outdoors on long hikes.
Riley CurieRiley is a first-year Psychology major and hopes to one day work in forensic psychology. Riley has done criminal justice research in the past and was the vice president of her high school young democrats club. Social issues have always been important to Riley, especially the issues within the U.S. criminal justice system as well as the foster care system.
